In 2007, First Church extended its outreach by initiating a bi-monthly evening meal service in the Ravens' downtown parking lot and our west lot. This endeavor was born from a crucial need: to provide meals on Sunday nights when The Banquet's services were unavailable.

As the demand for evening meals grew, the Nightwatch program expanded its efforts to include Monday nights on the west side of Sioux Falls, hosted at Hayward Elementary School. Recognizing this amplified need, First Church once again stepped forward, committing to serve a meal once a month, every month, at this new location.

Thanks to the unwavering dedication of numerous volunteers, First Church consistently provides around 200 meals each month to the children and families within the Hayward community. Their commitment remains steadfast, and they serve without fail on the first Monday of every month, regardless of the weather—come rain, snow, or extreme temperatures.
